Eureka is IEEE Certified paper submission and presentation event.
In this, you have to frame your innovative idea in a paper. The idea must be feasible and can be extended to be implemented. Kshitij invites departments of mechanical, biotechnology, computer science, electronics and electrical to showcase their idea. If your idea is good enough, you may get a chance to present it during Kshitij 2020.

Best Papers from every department in the first round will get an Appreciation prize of INR 2000/- (each)from the IEEE Student Branch IIT KGP.
Event Structure:
The event consists of 2 rounds.

1st Round: 
Each team will have to mail the abstract on [email protected] in the provided format together with pictures & videos explaining their project. Shortlisted Teams will be Invited to Kshitij’20 for the 2nd Round. The deadline for the abstract submission is 10th January 2020.

2nd Round:
It will be a standard presentation round where the finalists will have to present their idea to our eminent judging panel during Kshitij'20 within the allotted time (12 mins ppt + 3 min Question Answer).
Rules and Regulations :
  1. Entries are allowed for all UG, PG and Research Scholars from recognized Institute.
  2. A maximum of 4 members is allowed per team in the Event.
  3. Students from different colleges can also be a part of the same team.
  4. Shortlisted Students will have to come to Kshitij, IIT Kharagpur during the fest to give presentations for their projects.
  5. Certificates will be provided to the selected students for 2nd round only. 
  6. Winners of the last 3 years can not participate in the event with the same idea as of previous years.
  7. The decision of the judges and the event coordinators will be final.
  8. The project or idea should be the original approach of the team.
  9. Every Team will be given only 12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for Question Answer(May increase according to judges or Topic).
  10. The abstract should contain a detailed idea of the project.
  11. Project or Idea Should be related to any of the 5 departments Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Biotechnology Engineering.
  12. Abstract and Presentation should be in IEEE prescribed format. 
  13. Appreciation prize will be given to those participants only who will be presenting here their presentation(2nd Round) during Kshitij'20.
